SO HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED ...go ahead "I told you so"
So after much thinking I decided to mate up a pypes off-road H pipe to my SLP Loudmouths. I am a huge fan of LOUD , but im also a huge fan of CLEAN. This exhaust combo was such a dissapointment. Now, if the car never saw daily driving and only WOT runs at the track / road course I would love it. But normal driving it sucks so bad. Im making this post so that nobody makes the same choice I did. Right now I have my stock axle backs back on mated up to the H pipe and it sounds pretty crappy and tinny, but its livable. Either way, you gotta pay to play and live with it...
so MustangForums I need some of your help and I will listen this time:
Ive heard the Steeda (Mangapack) axleback is an excellent choice to go with the off road H-pipe. Are there any other suggestions? I was looking at the S197s Exhaust Thread, and found a lot of good info but I wanted some personal experience.
The slp powerflos look simliar to the Steedas, is there a difference?
Basically Im just needing a really good deep sounding exhaust from my offroad H pipe.
Thanks guys

Here's a vid of my stang with Borla stingers and a MAC prochamber modified with Pypes high-flow cats. If the offroad H-pipe isn't clean enough for you, you can always splice in these cats to make it nicer.

I have the FRPP Stingers w/ an O/R Mac ProChamber and love the sound. Deep and aggressive w/o sounding like a rusty John Deer. I payed the price w/ 5 different combinations to find the right one, and I understand where you're coming from w/ the SLP LM's, just to raspy and obnoxious. Good luck w/ the next set up.
