Thanks guys for the info. I knew the procrdure was in the owners manual. I just wanted to make sure the fusion key will work before I spent the money.

I did mine it worked great, check out eBay for some good deals on the key (theres an auction to get 2 keys for $79)
If that's remotehub, I suggest you get one from a different seller. He sold me a used key that was all scuffed on the plastic with just a new uncut blade. And the blade fell off after a few days because he used children's glue or something to put it on.

Odd. Mine was brand new. Sorry to hear that. I would have requested a refund.

I have one, it's kinda cool. But it's still not as cool as my Fiance's key to her Beetle.

The coolness of the newer beetle stops when
you have to removethe fenders to replace
burned out brake/turn signal bulbs.
Darn newer Vdubs. Drive them until the bulbs
burn out then unload it on the unsuspecting
used car market.

i got mine on ebay for 30 bucks plus 10 for shipping. Lowes would NOT cut the key because there was a chip inside of it. I then went to a small hardware shop and he cut it for $1. Its def a cool key, alot less bulky in your pocket.
