Default Seat covers.... revisited

Has anyone gotten any seat covers for their `05 yet? This has been asked a few times, but no one has really answered. I've been to a few sites that offer them, but from the photo's they show, they don't look like 05 seats.

I have leather seats... the only cover for them will be my butt!

Good luck in your search...

Time for a little cross-pollination. Here's a thread from the allfordmustangs.com forums by a guy who got his done by leatherseats.com. Looks like nice work.

They are sending me some samples so I can do mine in a similar two-tone scheme, except matching my redfire GT. Shouldn't be quite as loud as his yellow (I'm a little too old for them to be that bright), but still nice and match the car.

His seats look good. Might be something that you would get tired of with time, but they look good.
Just wish people would stop and think before they post pictures of their license plates on the internet...

Damn good timing, too. I scuffed and tore a small hole in the paper-thin leather on the back of the passenger seat on Saturday getting a large box in and then out of my car. I was thinking I should claim it under warranty because I didn't do enough that it should have gone so crappy, then I pondered leaving it since nobody ever sits in the tiny back seat, but that wasn't going to do. This is a better solution all-round for me, as it will add some color to my black-on-black-on-black interior.

I got a neoprene set from coverking. you can buy them through Advanced Auto or online. They are three piece custom cut for the 05' Mustang and have a variety of color choices including two tone. Mine should be here in about a week.

Sounds cool, but I'm partial to leather. Be sure to post up some pics when you get them, though.

I like them. I might have to do something like that, and even if you do get tired of them in the future, they are just seat covers, and you can remove them.
