Can't decide between Borla stingers and MAC axlebacks! Trumpeting? help please
I've read alot about both of them and i know that the macs have pretty bad drone but i could always put resonators in and i know the borlas are supposed to be top quality but they are expensive compared to the macs!.... I could buy the whole catback mac setup for cheaper than it would be for just the borla axlebacks!... but i understand they are one of the best ones... I am really pushing towards the macs and i have listened to alot of clips on youtube but it doesnt really help....I also plan on getting an offroad prochamber and i wanted to know how they would sound together and if there would be any trumpeting....?? Can anyone help me out with a good honest opinion.. thanks

Stingers sound great. Compared to stock, they are not MUCH louder, but alot deeper. With o/r pipes, they sound really good. I might be picking up some macs from a local for cheap just for the hell of it... i'll let you know how they sound.

I tried the Macs on my 07. They sounded GREAT, but the drone was terrible. I had to take them off a week later. Going for a nice drive became unpleasant due to the mufflers. We'd arrive back home with headaches and feeling nauseous literally.
I went with SLP Powerflos instead. I don't see many people using them, but they were GREAT! Very nice finish and quality, and they sounded awesome with very little drone. Highly recommended!

both sound great. i prefer the mac's when its just the mufflers, for crusing they sound amazing (from outside at least). but the borla's are always safe, especially if your going to put on an o/r midpipe.
