SORRY PPL I GUESS I'LL RAIN ON THE PARADE.
1.) Car is ugly, I cannot believe Ford is giving up what it has for that car.
2.) Car is under power, 300 hp v6 in the new camaro, and 400 hp in the Z28. We get a 210 hp V6 when there is a 340hp (est.) 340 ft/lb (est) twin turbo v6 readily available. And a 315hp V8 vs. a 400hp V8 on the camaro, or a 375hp v8 in the Challenger.
3.) Both competitors; Camaro and Challenger, have avaible 6 speeds, we are still stuck with 5 speeds.
4.) Both competors have active fuel management systems, ford still does not.
Wake up Ford, the competitors are leaving you in the dust with technology, power, looks, and options

and for 25k you get a V6 camaro
or a GT mustang
and for 40K you get a 400+ Challenger with an automatic
and for 40K you get a 500+ SHelby GT 500 with Six speed
guys theres more in the car industry than sales.
if i was a parent i would buy wife or daughter a 19K v6 with 210 hp over a 25K 300 hp V6.
the camaro died the first time becaues the mustang was that much more practical.
this new mustang has nav, it has all the gizmos and gadgets you can get for under 30K
your getting a reliable 3V 4.6 liter V8 with a strong 5 speed and 8.8 rear end, plus helluva lot of design work.
BOTTOM LINE THE GT IS THE BASE V8, when the redesgin of the New Edges came we only got a 30 HP increase. when the s 197 came we got a 40 HP increase, but more wieght,
if you continue on that path in ten years we will have 500 HP GTs.
thats retarded. no one would buy that.

I saw the pics online and thought 1 word "ugly"... then I saw the show on speed. That blue drift car looked great. The rear end looked pretty good. I'd still have to see it in person. The car def looks good in black, but looks cheap in the other colors due to the black molding and what not.
I'm a fan because it's not 350-400hp (good for me and racing the new ones ) and I think it looks ok so far.
Again, would want to see one in person
Interior looks good.

Mod vs. mod, Stock vs. Stock V6 CAMARO> V6 Mustang
Mod vs. mod, Stock vs. Stock V8 CAMARO> V8 Mustang
Sorry to break you heart.
Never said this im just saying when aftermarket comes out it can pose a threat
1. The camaro weight is 3800 LBS
2. The V6 will not be a failure you wait and see how it will overshadow the V6 Mustang and the insurance will not be ridiculous. I bet it will be the same as the V6 Mustang.
Using this argument i can just by a 2002 LS1 for 10K and use the remaining 16K to turbocharge the car and put it into deep 8's.

Booyah... exactly. I hate to sound like an LS1 fanboy, but if you guys want straight up power that's where's it at. If the LS1 goes boom, you can always find a LS6. And you can find a good LS1 Camaro for about $8500 instead of 10K. They are an incredible bang for your buck.
And I think the v6 Camaro is gonna fail bad. That's 65%-70% of the models total sales failing to the Mustang's strong base model sales.
