Hey, look on the bright side. They're using the same v6 for 2010, which means aftermarket companies will keep on making and developing parts for the 4.0.
I think if they do a pony package w/ the 2010 it won't look nearly as good as the current s197 since our cars have just the right amount of retro for that grill while the new ones look too modern.

I've seen the new pony package online somewhere. The grille lookes like the current grille with no fogs.
Yeah, I've seen it too. In my January 2009 edition of Motor Trend, it says, " The v-6's grille has a thin horizontal chrome bar with foglights now placed in the lower fascia, while the V-8's fogs surround the new "black chrome" pony emblem in the grille."
It also talks about the weight of the new Mustangs, saying; "Considering the heavy competition, Doge Challenger and Chevrolet Camero, it's commendable that weight is up just 15 pounds on the GT (attributed to the bigger wheels) and about 35 pounds on the V-6, thanks to wheels and the rear bar. So the 2010 Mustang is in the 3380-3555 pound range."
So, with the 2010 V6 sporting the same 4.0 engine as the 2005-2009 V6 but weighing appox. 35 lbs more, one could say that the 2005-2009 V6s are faster....no?

Car and Driver said that drag has been reduced also, so probably, "NO".
