I just finished my install and it worked out great. I had the new pump back in, in about 30 min. Maybe 3 hrs total time, and totally goofing off while doing it. This could probably be done in about 1.5 hrs if necessary.
My only differences from the write up:
The wires pulled out of the old connector to the new needed to be swapped to get the fuel gauge to work. In other words, the light green and light blue wires needed to be hooked up opposite of what it should be. Light green gets connected to the light blue on the other end, and vice versa.
I also did not have to cut another hole in the rubber cover to the pump. The new harness took the place of the factory one.

I'm glad you bumped this thread up.

This is a very excellent write-up with step by step instructions that is both exact and exhaustive.
I learned a ton from this thread.

I just did this and just wanted to make sure people that are doing this are now using a DUAL Boostapump. I think I see some are using single boostapump?

Yes if you are going to add a BAP you will need a dual unit, or 2 singles.

Great write up, I helped a buddy install this pump, seemed complicated at first but, very easy as you stated, the wiring may seem intimidating but, it's pretty straight forward.

I've just installed my dual fuel pumps and I'm getting a reading on 0 on my gas. Has anyone had this problem?
