Default need help on axle backs

Well i have a 06 gt 5 speed and it needs to be louder. I love the MAC axle back but after looking in to it more the drone seems to be preety bad. I don't mind drone, but if its that bad it not worth it is my DD. i havn't really be able to find any other axle backs that have the MAC sound. I hate the way flowmasters sounds. I want a real clean sound. the corsas/stingers/SLPs are all nice, but from the clips ive seen they really don't seemed noticeable inside the car. I want it to sounds loud/good out side and have a good deep done, but nothing crazy on in the inside.

Ive had a s-10 blazer with no cat and single chamber 40's series for about 4 years, so having a stock sounding gt is no option. I wanna be known when i drive past.

Any one have any suggestions?

A good friend installed the Mac prochamber along with his Mac axle backs and that sounded deeper @ idle and more balanced. The drone was there and not as loud or as deep on the hiway. If your Stang is a daily driver a set of GTA's sound really nice and no drone.

I had SLP Powerflos on my 07 GT. They sounded GREAT. Fairly loud, but not quite as loud as Loudmouths, low tone, very little drone, awesome fit and finish. I don't see many people running them, and I'm not sure why, just not as popular as the Loudmouths I suppose. They rocked, and they sound right up your alley.

I had the Macs on my 07 for a SHORT period of time. The tone was good, but the drone was ridiculous. I really like the Flowmaster A/Ts I have now, they don't drone at all. But they'll be too quiet for you... Here is a clip of them anyway, I took it from inside the car: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ssbpr...e=channel_page

I found a clip of the Powerflos:

The louder the car, the harder it is to make it sound good

I had Kooks long tube headers with high flow cats/X pipe and Corsa mufflers installed on my '08 Shelby GT. The cars sounds like a NHRA beast, yet no drone at 2000 RPM.

The Pypes Violators sound awesome on these cars. They're cheap, so it may take a little longer to get them lined up right, but you can't beat them for the price. They really do sound awesome. So does the Pypes mid-muffler system, but that's even harder to align.

I have the regular Magnaflow axle backs. They sound good also, but if you don't have an off road pipe, they're way too quiet.

Has anyone seen or heard the new FRPP(08') M-5230-s muffs they came out with? They are for use on the FR500S Mustangs. They look similar to FRPP Stingers.

You can't really how car sounds inside from video clips. My magnapacks are fairly quiet at cruising speeds, but the go peddle is applied it sounds aggressive. This is the case for a majority of axlebacks.

Definitely stay away from the macs if you do not want drone cause it is extreme. The macs do sound amazing on the outside of the car though. I installed my macs on a Saturday and took them off the next day and will definitely be selling them. I have the slp loudmouths and love them.
