Auto or Manual, What should I buy?
I'm thinking about upgrading my auto V6 to a GT.
Should I go with an auto or a manual?
Please note that the car will be my daily driving car. I live in the NJ/NY metro area and I have never even driven a manual before. I also have some issues with the strength in my feet because of a severe childhood car accident.
I need some advice. Thanks!

Hey I live in NYC and im about to buy a new mustang too. I have friends that live all over the 5 boroughs, upstate NY and NJ who drive manuals and autos. The ones that have autos love them and the ones that have manuals love them too but complain about stop and go traffic. Its true that manuals are more fun and give you more control but if your going to be driving in a lot of stop and go traffic it will be a real pain. After doing some research myself and taking where I live into consideration, I'm definitely sticking with an auto. Its much more relaxing and you don't have to do much.

i would always say get the manual. no reason they should even make them in autos. but with you saying where you live and that strength in your foot could become a problem then get the auto. the auto these days are a lot better and shift a lot faster than they used to. plus if you get a auto get it cai/tuner combo and the tuner can adjust the shift points and firmness. best of both worlds. good luck with your decision
