Cool Sequential / Chase Tail Light Help....

I'm new here.

I know this has been touched on before but the threads haven't been touched in a while. I love the look of sequential tail lights but I'm hesitant to drop a lot of cash on a set and I want to make sure I get the right thing.

I drive a 2006 and I would like to get the kind that has the "chase" setting where the lights follow across over and over instead of the standard sequential where the lights flare outwards and stop and start over.

I would also make sure I get the "plug in" kind that is a matter of plugging in a connector as opposed to splicing or soldering wires.

Lastly, I would really like to drop less than $100 and preferably in the $50-$60 range.

If you guys could help me on this, I would be very grateful.

american muscle has has a kit, not under 100, but for 130? at most w/ discount code, i bought and really like them, not had any problems for 4 months now and the wiring is better than the stock harness. The install takes less than 10 min.

I saw that but it's sorta pricey and doesn't have the chase feature. I do like the plugin-ness of it though.

Here's a site that shows the difference with the chase:

ok i dont know of many of the chases but i think the regs are the best, they tick people off as they are already, with the chase its overkill, but if you go with the reg ones american muscle is the best! good luck!

the meter4it kit is the only one offering chase mode that i'm aware of.. I think there is only three options: meter4it, webelectrics and CDC.

Im not 100% but I THINK the meter4it kit is splice in only. Meaning, not plug-n-play. I have sequentials from American Muscle, which is the webelectrics kit. I have had to replace 1 blub so far. If I were you, I would go with the CDC kit. The technology in the CDC kit is superior to the webelectrics kit in how the circutry sends the flash to the bulbs. Im sure someone will chime in and explain in further detail. However if you want the case kit, there is only one answer...

Thanks everybody for the excellent answers. This is my first real forum experience on a car site. Does anyone know I can delete my double post above?

In addition, I was wondering if the CDC is the same kind they are selling on americanmuscle

Default Sequentials

I have the meter4it kit with chase. I love it. I prefer it over the regular sequentials.
