Default HELP ME PLEASE!!!

i just bought a 2009 gt and, being the picky person i am, i looked it over for flaws. i found that the ENTIRE passenger side of the car is mis-alligned.
but what bugs me the most is the passenger side door. when it is closed it looks like the door hasnt been shut all the way. it doesnt line up flush with the fenders. i read that some strikers may help. has anyone else noticed this??? can it be fixed??
i dont want to have to take it in to the dealer. theyll probably mess domething up.
i know its a dumb thing, but its been driving me crazy!!! any tips or information you have would be GREATLY appreciated.

Definately a trip to the dealer. It's Ford's problem, let them fix it at their expense. It's either that or a LOT of $$ out of your pocket.

Been there done that on BOTH of my new mustangs (my 00 and 08)

Both times went to the dealerships body shop (not the service center) and they took care of it within a day. If you go through the service center they tend to put you on THEIR list so it could be two days before they get around to taking to the shop which then delays it another day or two. Take the middle man out in this case and go straight to the body shop.

In some dealerships you have to go through service but most have a seperate body shop. It's not a chargeable item since the car is under warranty.

Warranty will take care of it so long as you dont have mods that mess with the cars geometry, mainly suspension. But these cars, along with all the other Ford products are never going to line up perfect. We got 2 Mustangs in the same day and the clutches feel different on the two. The Town Car we bought for the office has panels with different gap sizes from one side of the car to the other. Funny enough, we got an MKZ last year and I looked for problems, but couldnt find any.

What Nuke said and all of the rest. Take it back! ASAP! I'm sure you work hard for your money and if the dealer wants to stay in business they will do the same. Take it back! Good Luck!
