Turbo's are a bit more work to install and from what I heard very hard/impossible to make smog legal. I know they are definitely more efficient because you are using your own gases to power the car rather than belts and pullies drawing off your engine for power. All of them are fun. Also figure in that with 20's and no real suspension work, after 400 rwhp, youll be spinning your tires more than anything else, which is fun in my book.

Has anyone installed/considered the Fastlane Twinturbo?
Here is the link. I am not sure about the price.

This kit is good for 550 hp safely and is intercooled. It comes with everything you need besides the small components you'd need with any kit to build your transmission up.
Please don't get it though because, who wouldn't want these on their car:
-80 less horsepower
-120 less torque
-$500 more
-Shipping Costs
-Having to buy a BOV.
-Having to pay an installer to expensively custom fab work something.
Certainly that's what you're into man.

Make sure you do research, I did and I think Twin Screw is the best of both worlds. Turbos are popular and give great numbers (high Torque), but too much piping for me and I do not like the lag. Centri's are ok but look at a dyno from one, it takes a little bit for the power to build-up. Look at a twin screw dyno, instant boost with a nice flat torque curve. I like my Saleen Twin screw 430hp with 7lbs of boost is plenty for me....

I agree with what you stated FireMansGT except for boost lag with turbo's......smaller twins or single can and will spool faster and get rid of most boost lag.....turbo's plain and simple more efficient but dont get me wrong I love my Twin Screw S/C!!!!! no regrets!
