Maybe if we knew what size of rims you had, we could help you out?

Not sure I currently have BF Goodrich 255-45-18 and after a year and a half they have dry rotted. So I need new tires.

Are they the same width? Or do you have staggered, wider in back narrower in front?

yes they are. So be kind to the people behind you. As I've had my hood repainted because I sat behind Nitto's for about 100 miles. NEVER again lol

Ditto on the 255.

How do you intend on using them? Track? Road-X? Daily highway? Highway/city mix? Rain? Snow? Do you want all season's or summer? How much are you looking to spend? We might be able to whittle you down from about 1,000 to a mere 5 or 10 choices.

"Best"... geeeeez, I HATE that word!

LOL at Nuke. Best price? Best tread pattern? Best deal at your local tire center?

I only drive my Stang in good weather so I went with Toyo T1R Summer. Had them on for a little over a year now and they stick to the road really nice and are quiet, but already the front tires are wearing on the edges.

Judging by the pic in his sig and knowing he has 255/45/18 all around, I would have to assume he has 18x9's all around.

Default tires

I really don't know the tire width. Im looking for a tire with good traction that will last a good while not 1 1/2 years. Also, my BF Goodrich tires are dry rotting so I will not buy another set of BF Goodrich. I do have 255/45 all the way around the car.

Good traction and long tread life are typically contradictory. For starters, I suggest you begin your research using the tire rating info on tirerack.com and, since you're in Georgia, research summer performance tires as I doubt you need an all season.
