My salesman who was keeping an eye out for a Windviel blue GT Auto called the other day and said they had one on the lot and it only had 7,000 miles on it.
I wasnt interested in used, but I asked how much he wanted for it, he said 29,900. I said thats a little much for a used one isnt it? He said its not used, its new only has 7,000 miles on it. After nearly having to beat it out of him he admits it was a trade in, but he quickly adds its still not used, its new only has 7,000 miles on it.
(dont know how many time he actually used that line) I asked if the title would say new or used? He said used, so its a used car then right? oh no not used, its new only has 7,000 miles on it.

I couldnt understand why he kept insisting it was new when it was clearly a used car, I dont think I would give even 25,000 for a used one when I can get a new one for a little more.

A couple weeks ago he told my wife and I to our face if we ordered an 06 he would sell at sticker price, but now he is saying he never said that and it will be 2,000 over sticker. I had bought our f150 supercrew from him and I thought I had found an honest salesman who would not lie to me, guess I was wrong.

Anyway, what do you think a USED 05 GT Auto with 7,000 miles, shaker 500, and bullits, no IUP or nothing is worth? (not vert)

there is more than one ford dealer; dont love something that cant love you back; if you pay over the odds for a used car you will regret it forever; tell that greedy little ba***** where he can go and do yourself a favor; you will get what you want at the right price with patience; we all had to wait but the wait was worth it; good luck

That salesperson is garbage. Do not deal with him/her. Continue to shop around. That is what I am doing.

Any salesperson who uses the words "New" when desribing a trade-in is being tricky!
When you say you are taking your business elsewhere be sure to let the sales manager know why!

After all expenses, including taxes, tell him you'll pay $24,000. Also let him know, that you're being generous. I paid less than $29,000 for mine new, and it's got more accessories. Also let him know you won't be talking to his boss or the BBB about his sale techniques.

You don't know how that car was driven for the first 7,000 miles.

any car with 7000 miles on it is not new. The salesman is being an ***, and you should take your business elsewhere.

I'm noticing that a lot more GTs are showing up at the dealers lately. Shop around!

what a punk this guy is. Raise cane in the show room. Then go buy a new one somewhere else.

I looked at trade-in price for an '04 GT w/ auto and leather and at Excellent (which they never even give you) it came to $17,250
Private party price was $19,775 w/the same options selected
