broke the 500rwhp mark :)
So as some of you know about a year ago almost to the date, I threw a procharger on my GT had it tuned for 93 and saw about 450 at the wheels, well I got tired of that and started running 100 octane (at almost 7.00 a gallon, and no it's defiantly not my daily driver) got it re tuned and I was around 470 at the wheels. Well guess what, I got bored with that and after reading that article in 5.0 (April 09) magazine comparing all the headers I went out and got a set with an off road X-pipe and went for the gt500 fuel pumps and a set of 42lb injectors, threw her back on the dyno and got 504 at the wheels. I know some people say that's in the danger zone so I'll be finding out first hand. So if you're supercharged and don't have headers yet I'd recommend going out and getting a set, that is only if you want more power. One downfall is it doesn't sound all that great when in the middle of the RPM range unless you're really on the throttle.
Cliff notes:
Went from 470rwhp to 504 with new headers injectors fuel pumps
Blowing 11spi in the high RPM range
Sound isn't that great unless you're at full throttle

It should hold up fine if not tracked or beat on all the time. Since its not a DD I think it may last longer then many will think. What is the timing (max) set at? Do you have a pic of the dyno sheet and some pics of the car and maybe some vids of everything too? I would like to hear what your describing and wonder if it is the O/R X -pipe that is maikng tthe sound no to your liking in the mid range? Keep running the 100 octane right? I would.......

Your engine WILL BLOW. With being not a matter of if but how soon.
Why not spend $4500 now on getting forged, instead of $7000 later when you throw a rod though the block.
Even if you put the $4500 on a credit card with 18% interest and paid it off in 5 years @ $125 a month, you'd still be on top.
