Anyone Purchased a 2010 Mustang GT!?!?
#16
My friend's dad bought a brand new 2010 GT fully loaded with all the options and he paid invoice price for it and not a penny more. He did a ton of research on edmunds.com, was really prepared and had a lot of info on what a GT should cost. Although the dealer wasn't too happy with it, my friend's dad was able to pull it of lol. I have yet to see the car but I'm sure its really nice.

2010 GT w/3.73 and nothing else, Schaumburg, IL
Purchased 6/10/09 at Schaumburg Ford in IL. 2010 GT base with 3.73 (wanted Track Pack, not building strippers with only Track Pack... )
$27,770.00 plus tax. Good deal.
Though I just noticed last week American Express has unbelievable deals and could have purchased my exact car for like $27,600.00.
Amex had three 2010 V6 Convert for $13,500.00.... that's not a typo!
Love the car BTW, on track last week.

hey guys thanks for the input more would be great okay, heres what the dealer has offered me Im trading a truck kbb values it at 13,900 I owe 12,700, The dealer gave me 15,000 for the truck and gave me the 1000 rebate the car he said is MSRP at 29000 its just a GT deluxe Auto is the only option cloth seats etc. So what would the MSRP be on that car because the dealer said that 26000 is too low and they paid more than that for the car themselves, which i think is crap and a lie! But I want to see what I can do to get a 420 and down a month car payment for 60 months. What should I do now are those prices fair? What should i offer them? Any help thanks!
- Private Sale
- Trade-in
- Retail Sale
Private is what you would get if you sell it yourself to another person. You can usually get a few thousand more than a trade-in because most states don't charge sales tax in private party sales.
Trade-in is the lowest and then you need to be EXTREMLY careful that they quote Good or Excellent condition. Some dealers say they'll give you KBB then give you Poor trade-in value.
Retail is the highest price a car will go for in your area typically. It's sold by a dealer after going through some prepping to make it look as good as it can.
