getting that bug..thinking about headers
#12
I really do not care about dyno numbers , just sound and how fast it is vs how fast the dyno reads. I already have 4.10's sitting at my house that i was goign to sell to buy the headers, but it seems like 4.10's will make me faster. The only reason I didn't want to put the 4.10's is because I will likely go F/I and maybe turbo, so I know 4.10's are not good for that.
I think you are right AmericanSpeed, I probably should just wait and save. The bug will probably strike again soon and then I dumped more money in there that could have gone towards the blower or turbo.

This was a test in 5.0 Mustang & Super Fords. They compare 7 long tube setups. Awesome article.

I installed my Kooks LTs and off-road H about 2 weeks ago. At first I was just enjoying the new sound from the new H pipe, but as I drive it more and more I've noticed the new more and more. It definitely feels like there is more power under the hood now.
Personally, I think all that 10s of years of people making and buying performance headers cant all be wrong. They have to give some power. If you ask me, Kenne Bell, says they don't do anything till after the SC because they want to sell you another tune. I still think its stupid that they force you to use their tune and nothing else.
BTW, it was that article (and some other's account) that convinced me me to go with Kooks. With parts for this car, you get what you pay for.
