Default Wow, just installed my intake and tune from Bama...

I can't believe how much extra power my Mustang gained from such a simple modification! I bought the JLT intake and XCal3 Tuner combo from Bamachips in the middle of last month, and even though it took almost a whole month to get it, it was well worth the wait! I got the 87 Performance, 91 Race, and 93 Torque tunes, and so far, the only one I've uploaded is the 93 Torque, and I'm extremely impressed!

I'm sure the vast majority of you already know how much power this combo gives you, and I'm probably preaching to the choir, but I am thoroughly impressed with all of this! Now I can't wait to get my Cervini's side exhaust kit!

Nice mod man!

I think my next mod that I save for will be a Ford Racing CAI. Gotta keep my certified used powertrain warranty intact.

I wanted the FRPP CAI (bullitt) intake too until I was informed by bama that it sacrifieces 7 RWHP over other aftermarket CAI's. 7 doesn't sound like a lot (remember that's RW so crank that's about 8 or 9) But if you start adding up little losses here and there, you end up with a big difference.

I had a VMP tune and wanted to try someelses tune so I ordered a 89 octane tune for them. The Bama 89 tune is much stronger than the previous, its like a diffrent car now. Even the sound is diffrent.

Thanks everyone for the comments, I just got back in from my second joy ride this evening... Shadow, the car is a 5-Speed... I wouldn't have it any other way lol

And yeah, the sound is much deeper and throatier, especially at WOT. I've noticed that if I go to take off from a stop exactly like I did before the install, there's a 90% chance the tires will spin, so learning a new takeoff technique is necessary. If you're thinking about doing this, check out Bamachips, Doug is easy to work with and you won't be disappointed.

Dude. Get the 4.10 gears. That will be an even bigger difference than the intake/tune.
