Default CDC Aggressive Chin Spoiler Installed

I finished the install today and here it is. I really like the look, not to sure about the flat black, I'm gonna give it a week and see what happens.

Installation was fairly straight forward with the exception of cutting the front facia. That first cut was hard but once I made it, the dremel made short work of it.

Looks awesome Dan!!! Nice job! And my 2 cents... I would paint it to match your car. I think it would look perfect then. I have the Classic waiting for me back home in San Diego... I need to get it painted before I install it though.

Can you give us more info on the splitter?
Price, where you got it? What you meant by "cutting the front facia"? Time it took to install?
There seems to be 2 splitters, or chin spoilers. Is that the "classic style"?
I think it is awesome but yes, it might look better if you painted it glossy black, like the paint

The spoiler is from CDC

It is the aggressive one and I bought it directly from CDC for $225. You have to cut the front facia. As for the cutting, you basically have to remove the clips that hold in the factory "vents" on the bottom and some of the material in front of it. Check out the install instructions, it will give you a better idea of whats involved.

The biggest time consumer is the facia mod. I really took my time to make sure that I didnt screw anything up so it took an hour or so, its not hard. I used a dremel to make the cuts and clean everything up.

I actually had it painted flat black thinking it would look good but I'm not sure. Everyone so far has suggested to get it painted gloss so I'll probably be taking it off and changing it.

If you dont want to cut, there is the CDC Classic and Steeda just came out with another new splitter. Theirs just snap on and there are no mods involved.

Also for what its worth, I wish it was about two inches shorter. I found out pretty quick that it drags easily..... gotta go into the parking lots at an angle....

Hey we have the same car! Almost
It looks open in the lower insert. That's the problem I have with mine. I want to put some black mesh in there to protect inside.
Definitely go gloss black! Maybe a billit grill

I like the your spoiler more than mine.

Very nice. I have been thinking of getting one for mine but wasn't sure if I should go flat black like the old 60s era cars or gloss. IMHO it would probably look better in gloss black, but still very nice.
