Default Bullitt H-Pipe Different Than GT H-Pipe?

I'm changing my exhaust setup a little bit and I need to swap my X for an H. Not looking aftermarket since I'm in California. Anyway, I have the opportunity to purchase either a Bullitt or GT stock H-Pipe and I've heard the Bullitt's is different. Can anybody chime in on this? How do they sound different?

I thought the Bullitt used an X-pipe.

The Bullitt H-Pipe is different than the GT H-Pipe. The Bullitt sound comes from the H-Pipe and the mufflers combo and it is a deeper sound then the GT. Youtube have a few vids of the Bullitt exhust sound with the Bullitt stock mufflers and after market mufflers. I hope this helped.

Nope, it has a "custom" H-Pipe with "baffles" in it or some shiz like that...to give it the sound that the original movie car had. Or at least that's what I've read

Deeper sound? Cool, that's exactly what I'm going for! Should sound great with some Boomtubes. Oh, if anybody is selling Boomtubes I'm looking to buy ASAP!

The exact difference is that the Bullit H Pipe only has a small dime sized opening in the - part of the H pipe? See what I did there? lol seriously though. That is why, it almost makes it like they dont connect at all makes it sound AWESOME if you have the choice 100% go with the Bullitt one.

Cool, I'm getting the Bullitt H-Pipe today so now I'm a lot more excited about it! Should sound pretty bad *** with some Boomtubes and my JBA shortys and Hot Rod cams. Probably the best I can do and still stay legal here in Cali.

that "H" pipe and the CAI make the Bullitt sound wicked straight from the factory. It has a very pronounced gurgle when you downshift and when you stomp it, the exhaust is very nice sounding

I love mine. Just need to get some FRPP Mufflers because I want a tiny bit more noise
