@elayman
Ford went to a universal radio for about 6yrs.
2003-2008 Navigator
2003-2008 F-250/350
2004-2008 F-150/Econoline
2005-2009 Mustang
2004-2006 Crown Vic/Taurus
2007-2008 500
there are more, but you get the idea...basically the Double Din factory radio from any of the above will pop out, then install into any other Ford of roughly the same years. this makes it easy to upgrade to a better OEM radio, or just put in a Double Din of your choice from aftermarket
In 2007 though, Ford got tricky and wired in a Aux input jack. You can still swap around all the years, but the 2007+ radio harnesses have 1 more wire in them vs a 2006 or older pigtail.
so just take your pick when you buy the install kits. for convenience sake though, I personally would buy a Mustang one only. That way you know there is no chance of messing it up...even though they are the same
@ vrflip
or maybe like me, he just payed attention in High School and was actually taught something. I went to a school where performance was rewarded, and stupidity got expelled
It's amazing how little kids learn in school...actually, amazing isn't a good word choice. Scary is more appropriate.
