Second USB port for Sync

Second USB port for Sync
Just took posesssion of my 2010 V6 convertible with Sync.
Great technology, pretty much got it figured out and working real well.
Decided that instead of keeping my iPod in the car, I would copy playlists to a usb drive and not have to worry about it getting stolen or bumped around.
Came across a thread on an F150 board which states that the Sync module, under the dash has a second USB port that you can install a dedicated USB drive into instead of the one in the armrest storage.

Anyone know where the Sync module, or second USB port is on the Mustang ?
Thanks

The second USB port on the module has a micro-USB connector on it (like the kind that attach to cell phones or digital cameras). Most cables that have the micro-USB on one end have a USB-A/Male connection on the other. You might need to do some digging to find an appropriate cable for what you want to do.
Also, the Micro-USB ports on the module are designed to work with special wiring harness connectors molded to the micro-USB end of the SYNC USB harness. Make sure your Micro-USB cable doesn't have too big of a molded plug to it, or else it's not going to fit in the recess where the Micro-USB port is.

It's behind your dash finish panel on the passenger's side.
Step 1.) Open glove box.
Step 2.) Completely lower glove box (release so that it drops all the way down)
Step 3.) Position yourself under glove box opening with flashlight.
Step 4.) Look up. Connectors should be on the bottom of the module.
