Here's some pictures I just took;
While the car was in the body shop, I had them install my SHR louvers;

Make sure you ask for a rental car so they can get one reserved, they will pay for the rental too.

corrosion issue ALSO!
My 05 Gt has had this problem as with many many other owners.Ford attempted to fix the problem in 08' ,it came back as I told them it would in 09'.This time bubbling on the outside front area.They had my car for 2 weeks ,following a strict guideline from PPG on prep of the hood ,shot it and I got it back 4 weeks ago.Guess what ? IT's back ! I have a bubble on the front edge.Took it back this week to the body shop manager and we both agree that the aluminum itself is contaminated.For all we know it could be recycled pop cans.We as owners CANNOT let Ford off the hook on this! They are hoping we go away with the warranty BS.Now the Body shop manager want's to get me a new hood.I'm waiting for answers from his boss.By the way, the paint they use at the dealership (PPG in this case) is warranted against bubbling for the life of the car! only if the bodyshop employee's have been trained by PPG.This is a true flub by Ford.Everyone that has this problem should hound Ford 10X over! that sucks, how do you mess up aluminum!? I've got 20 year old aluminum parts from my old Honda that don't do that! oh well, add that to the list with my rusting seat brackets to get fixed when the time comes.

Just be glad the corrosion under the paint problem is localized
to just the aluminum hood.
Its non-structural and EASILY replaced by anyone with a wrench....

Metal Man, keep us posted. I just got the same news on mine from my dealer and I am not happy about it at all! It is pretty bad on my car. The entire seem around the edge is completely bubbleing out.
Ford will be getting a call from me, so my gloves are now off.
