i am also on my 4th mustang. 2 were auto, 05 v6 and 06 gt. my 04 gt was 5sp and current 07 is 5sp. when i get lazy i just take the lightning out. i would never make fun of either one. i have heard the 2010 camaro auto is a tad faster in the 0-60 but is a tad slower in the 1/4. i would imagine the TCI shifter for the auto might be fun to drive. dont ever know what happend to that B&M setup i had seen in prototype back in 07-08 but it seems to have fallen off the map.

Every time I'm in an auto, I get bored. Doesn't even really matter what it is. I drive around my sister's 65 automatic Mustang Fastback from time to time, and yeah its an awesome car, but its just not fun to drive. I've had so much fun in my 69 Jeep CJ5, which top out around 65 just because its fun to drive, because its a manual 3 spd.

When I was buying my car there was no question about it, I wanted a 5 spd because I wanted to really enjoy the car.

I have an auto, but no one has given me crap about it. I never learned to drive manual *gasp* but then I can get away with it. I never had that boyfriend teach me in the high school days

Manual sounds like it would be fun to drive, and I wouldn't mind learning. Traffic here can get irritating so I just stuck with automatic since it's my DD.

I have an auto and love it, I didnt like the way it shifted when I first got it, but then I got the bama race tune and completely changed it. If i get the urge to drive a stick I take the ol lady's Z out for a spin. I dont regret getting the auto at all.

I did it right the first time and got a 5speed. My dad would love to have a stick but not for a DD. He wanted the SI(civic) but ended up with the reg civic. Mine is my DD and have no problem with it. I actually enjoy it alot. If i get lazy I'll just drive the dually around for a little while...nothing wrong with a little diesel fumes and boost.
