I've been considering duplicolor and doing my calipers red, how many coats did you put on? did you just use standard caliper paint from them? Thanks

This kit, in red, is what I used. I used two coats, waiting at least 15 minutes between coats as per the instructions.

I'm going to get some pictures in daylight with a better camera tomorrow. I'll post them.

VRFlip, keep us updated. I was just about to order a red G2 kit, but curious what you find out.

Better light, better camera, more time to cure. I think that another coat would have made a bit of a difference. It's obviously no where near the deep red that their picture shows.

I've contacted G2 and requested a color swatch for their red paints. I'll get another picture when they send it to me comparing what they think their red looks like compared to what I got. I'm not as disappointed with it now as I was, but I wish it had come out a little brighter red.

I have to decide now if its worth another kit to make it more red, and less orange. Most people on this forum that have compared the two say G2 is the superior product over Duplicolor.

That would appear to be much more red than mine. How many coats did you use?
