Default SCT Xcal 2 Tuner

I was thinking of buying one of these used (assuming its unlocked). Anyone know how this tuner works? Can I still buy tunes for this device even though its discontinued? Thanks guys...

The handheld is only a tool for loading tunes into the vehicle and for changing a few minor user-adjustable parameters. From a performance standpoint, it's no better or worse than an xcal3, the diablo or any others.

You can order your tunes from Brenspeed, AM/Bama, Tillman and a few other quality tuners. They'll e-mail them for you to load onto the xcal.

There expensive, I think 75 bucks? But the tune is definetly a big improvement, and it's just a 91 octane tune

These cost alomost $400 brand new with a tune loaded in them. Used prices are near $200.
