Default Glass roof installed on my 08 GT/CS

I'm in Charlottesville, Virginia and the only certified dealer was in Chesapeake....3.5 hours away. So, I checked Maryland. A place named Automotive Essentials installed it. They were 2.5 hours away. I should have put this on last year. I love it. It's a little warmer but once the A/C is on, same as the regular hard top. It has a nice tint/shade to it. Cost was $2500 plus 6% Maryland sales tax.

Heh, it's says glassback, instead of fastback. It's interesting to look at. I'm glad you're happy. I just hope you don't get into a wreck with it.

Socalwrench, I thought about that too. Thing is, there is glass all around anyway. All sides, in front of the driver's face and behind the back seat too. I've never been in an accident and don't plan/want to.

Is it a factory unit or an aftermarket kit?

No sunshade. It's aftermarket. It's the Classic Design Concept's (CDC) Glassback roof. Here is their website:

Before I ordered it, I told myself "if it is too bright, I'll get more tint installed on the inside of the glass. I don't see myself doing that. It's a nice tinted shade. Not too bright. I don't feel any "burn" like when the sun shines through the window sides or even worse with the windows down.
