Thanks!
With a black on black car the legal limits will look darker than it is in the front even though its 50%. On my car I'm thinking of 35% all around but I have a light colored interior

Here's the link to the "tint laws:"
http://www.tintdude.com/laws.html

I know that most tint shops will give you what you want, but if you get stopped for it not being legal...then the shop will not replace it for free...stick with law. I know in Va Beach that the police do use light meters when they stop you to check the tint...so be forewarned...

When I got my stang in 06 from Ourisman Ford, they took it to a place called LA Tint (don't know where is located)....4 yrs later and the tint still looks like day 1.

Yeah, I've heard nothing but positive things about LA Tint. I will be taking my car there I think. Just waiting for them to get back to me. Thanks everyone for all the insight. I will plan on keeping it within the law and getting 50 on the fronts and 35s on the rears.

Thanks! I'm actually a member, I've just never made it to any events.
As far as tint goes, I'm now torn between getting 35 all around or staying within the law and getting 50% on the front windows. I wonder if the 15% difference is worth it.
