cool...thanks all for the info. I will prob take pics either way...before and after. Hopefully it gets off....at this point, its just an eye sore

Some paste wax (fully compatable with paint by nature) will

ooo damn lol. Well..after reading that I googled some and found some others that did it also and had some serious dulling of their clear coat. I don't as of yet.. Hope I don't lol. Gonna edit that suggestion as well ty.

Yeah, when I bought my GT in April it was real rainy (not common in West Texas), so they said I could bring it back the next week and they would detail it for me.

When I went to pick it up that day after the detail they had added their damn hard plastic stuck on letters just above my driver tail light. Pissed me off, I wanted to ask if I got a stipend for advertising...

I used WD40 on mine and it took right off. Never know it had been there.

I had rain guards above my windows when I bought my car, but took them off, leaving 3 foot stripes of 3M tape. Did GooGone on one side, took the entire bottle, and collectively it took maybe alittle over an hour. Did the other side with the stuff I posted a picture of, took 5-10 minutes, and barely any of the product.

Your driver ID card is good for scraping without ruining the paint
