Default Dash Repair

I am thinking of changing gauge pod, but there are some cutting and screwing I have done to the dash top, which may be revealed if I change pod. Is there a way to repair this. Has anyone done it? Can the dash top be removed replaced with a takeoff? Any stores that do it in the Houston area?

Alternative anyone with the autogauge pod had an issue with it getting warped by the sun? Can it be repaired? I saw someone had covered it with leather from the seats (I am not that skilled any diy instructions?)... Is there a similar product in the market that is better made that this cheap Chinese plastic job? I think some GT 500 have a factory pod like that.

Thanks a million for the input.

I doubt thats fixable being its like a hard textured plastic, I'm sure you could buy a replacement top of the dash.
