Default TPMS Confusion

I'm currently on stock 17 inch bullitts and want to buy these complete GT500 rims. They come with the TPMS sensors and tires.

What I'm trying to understand is, can I just bolt these on my car and I'm good to go? Is there anything I need to do to make the TPMS sensors and my car get along? This is the first time I've had to consider TPMS sensors so humor me a bit.

You will need to bring the car to a tire shop so they can put a reader on the tires and "sync" the sensors with the car. I have an Explorer and I was getting a low tire warning after a TPMS sensor change. I brought it to a tire shop and they had a handheld scanner and it resets and snycs the TPMS with the car. I would assume that an explorer and mustang would be the same TPMS system since ther are both ford vehicles. BTW the tire shop didnt charge me to reset the sensor either.

Someone sells the sync tool and it's a quick and simple procedure. My local Ford shop did it for me at no charge in about 2 minutes.

I have take-off GT500's on my Stang but I swapped the OE sensors into them.

Don't mean to steal the thread, but I took off my stock wheels with the tpms, for the summer put on fatties with no tpms, I'm about to put the stock wheels back on (state inspection due end of september) and winter will be here sooner than later. When I put the stock tires on will they automatically sinc back to the system or will I have to go to the dealer to have it re-flashed. Anyone who know please share. OP Sorry to rob your thread
