I think the biggest problem of why it looks so "off" is that the corners and edges of the vintage front dont match the sharper corners and lines of the s197. The curves and edges of the vintage front end are far too rounded, and it gives the whole thing a "cut and paste" apperance.

It makes the car look like a shark. Now it needs some Z3 fenders to give it "gills".


I agree...except id say Z4, those look like sharks too...and not the cool kind, im talking about the ugly kind...

I saw this a while back....very nice if you want a modern vintage Mustang.
As far as the OP, I think the chrome bumper makes it look so out of proportion. It just doesn't flow right with that lower chin.
