Stopped by the shop later today and my bro got the new one fitted to see how it looked. So far so good. Hope to get her finished soon

I'm not sure how yours will end up, but here is the story on how it's suppose to work....
They total the car and pay you for it, minus the agreed price for your keeping the totalled car. You repair the car, then the DMV does an inspection on the car to certify it. They issue you a "Salvage Title" or a "Rebuilt Title" complete with new door stickers that has a new VIN Number that matches your new title. This allows you to keep your car, Protects future buyers from disclosure, and allows the DMV to re-enter the car back into the system. Now not everyone complies with these requirements, but that is the way the system is "Suppose" to be done.

There is some really nice work being done on this car. Be thankfull you have a talented Brother, because this type of work would cost you an incredible amount if you had to actually pay for it. Look forward to seeing the finished results.

Hey guys sorry about the delay. My brother got pretty busy the last month or so. So he put my car on the backburner. haha i dont mind since hes doing it for free. Heres a couple pics with the bumper on. I like it but i will never ever buy aftermarket again. Next bumper will be the gt500 conversion. anyway heres a couple better test fits with my grille in.

I know you like the GT Fogs, but in my opinion, your car would look better without them especially with that new bumper and chin. It looks menacing.

I have to agree with 07_Stang on this one. I think a diamond mesh painted black would look awesome.

Thank you for posting your story and the progress on the car. Nice job!

Actually that ugly *** mesh stuff is going to be removed. I think its disgusting. haha. we just left it in until its finished since were gonna have to remove the bumper anyway to start fixing all the sh*t that is wrong with it.
