1000 grits to roughen the surface before applying the VHT Nightshade.
2000 grits between coats. I only used 1 THICK coat of clear and sanded it after an overnight drying session. sand till orange feel look is completely gone. and then use any scratch remover. Be generous and at least 10-15 minues buff the heck out of it until the white compound goes away. Repeat that process one more time. And then wax it. You are done. I use meguars cleaner wax.

looks good man. Almost convincing me to do this. I just worry about the light output at night. I love the look, but am scared some idiot won't see me braking.
