I assume because my 98 mustang had a PATS system that the 05+ has something similar? (Although I also assumed because both my 89 and my 98 had a trunk release that I would get that too in an 07 but i guess not =p. gonna add one in though)

I mostly just ask because I got the car with only one key and I need to make a copy, am I going to have to bring it to the dealer to get a copy of the key made? how much do they normally charge?

I believe some locksmiths have the equipment to make a copy & yes it uses pats system. I made my own but I had 2 original keys.

Seems I heard they generally charge around $100-$130 plus the cost of the key & fob.
