TRUNK LETTERS YES OR NO? PLEASE ADVISE

I'm thinking along the same lines. People know a Mustang when they see one. Nobody's going to mistake it for a Volkswagen. It's just like when someone puts one of those big banners across the top of their windshield that says "MUSTANG". "No! REALLY?!! You're kidding me!!! I never would've guessed this was a Mustang!!!!"

If someone doesn't know what kind of car you are driving, what good are they?
Tell them to go back into the library and stop reading science fiction books and instead try reading an issue of Road & Track.

Do what you want, it's your car. I put retro usa chrome bumpers on my Bullitt and many howled......BUT when I had my car at cars and coffee most folks were surprised how good they looked in person. Also did some chrome work around grille ala '68 movie car.
I was shooting for a more '68 look. The car has quarter window louvres now also.
I like what I like and the hell with others opinion.
Oh, I'm 68 so I really am insulated against opinions of others.

I am with Pascal on this one. The trunk lid letters could look nice and blend in conservatively with the rest of the car, so long as the letters are not huge and gawdy.
For me, persoanlly, I miss the rear lid 5.0 emblem that the classic Foxes used to have. I actually thought about buying a 3rd but smaller 5.0 emblem and sticking that to my truck lid.
