Default Which alternator to buy

Hello,

So Im getting the Check Charging System message, I already took the car for tests and they say is the alternator and maybe they can fix it.... They will need to check the alternator to be 100% sure.

Im thinking on buy a new alternator but after reading so many threads motorcraft is my last choice, which ones do you recommend ?

If i cant get them in Mexico i will be ending buying motorcrap....

Thanks

Why can't you order online from PA Performance? I'd get the 130 amp unless you have some heavy duty aftermarket power hungry electronics. If so, then the 200 amp should do the trick.

I just checked and I can order online but they have this "If you are a customer in these areas and wish to order, please be advised that you are doing so without reimbursement for shipping on any Warranty Support. "

Im still trying to get it here in Mexico if not then i will see if I order it online, I dont know the fee for that here too...

Do i need this upgrade "** We require that you upgrade the main power wire due to higher output than stock on vehicles where this is an upgrade**"

That means i will needto orderthe power wire too ?

Thanks!

I'm kinda surprised there are Autozones in Mexico. Eh, well, maybe not. 90% of their parts are made there.

Didnt know they are made here but in that case that duralast gold should not be that expensive! LOL. But when i called them they say they dont have in stock and they need to call US to see if they can ship us, that means those are not made here.... who knows.

If i get the PA Performance Alternator the total cost would be 450dlls plus the fees i will need to pay here. I think i should get one from Mexico.

Does anyone recommends the duralast gold or any other brand ?

Thanks
