Default How to get rid of scratch on rubberized E Brake handle? Help please - 2011 GT

The plastic/rubberized E-Brake handle on my 2011 Mustang GT has a few scratches on it. Is there anyway to take these off?

I wish I could buy a leather handle for it, but on the 2011's it looks like the leather handle is built into the entire EBrake. Anyone have any suggestions on replacing the handle with a leather handle?

The only consolation I can offer is that since it's rubber, the scratches will kind of wear away with a little use...assuming the rubber is roughly the same type as the 05-09.

I am not sure what the '11 ebrake looks like, but my wife got a new sewing machine for christmas so she was begging to make things.....well, she made a sleeve that covers the handle for my '07. Its made out of a strong black microfiberish material and she used silver string. Really turned out nice, fits snug, and looks very custom.

Just an idea......

If you are not able to fix the scratch, have you considered an e-brake handle cover? I am not sure if they sell the e-brake handle covers for your 2011.
I purchased the chrome e-brake handle cover for my 05' and it covers a good bit of the e-brake. Just a thought.

Hate to tell you, but you are going to have alot more scratches inside and out, I've learned to deal with the minor ones. When my 07 was brand new, I would flip out about every little noise and scratch. Now, it sounds wierd to me when there is no odd noise, lol. You are going to get scratches. Don't drive yourself nuts over them. I would try the cover others have suggested.
Good luck,
