found this thread while doing search... are these coilovers chromoly or steel? and are they as heavy or heavier than the stock components? i tried going to the bc racing website but found no info, not even spring rates.

also wondering if you have the camber plates installed? if so, how do you adjust them? i am looking at my stock setup and the hole at the top of the shock tower in the front is so small i don't see how a camber plate could be adjusted without having to pull the strut out every time?

they are machined. they are heavy but by no means heavier than the oem units. you have to also consider these struts are way thicker as well. spring rates are 7k front 5 rear. camber plates come included for our cars. without a strut bar camber can be adjusted from the top of the strut mount. i think coilovers is the best suspension mod hands down. some good tires and the pos live axle actually does really well.

drock i guess you have had these a year now, so you should know the setup pretty well. a couple of questions.

1: what spring rates did you get?
2: what is the minimum drop front and rear?
3: how has your ride quality been?

Holy dead thread batman!

1. When i got my coilovers, the rates were 8k and 5k. The rear is stiff just so you know. A lot of people wont like the rear that stiff.

2. Minimum drop in the rear is about a 1.25 drop give or take a lil. Minimum drop of front is higher than stock ha.

3. My ride quality is ok but i have a lot of suspension stuff, so that could have a negative affect on how my car rides and I drive around with the car set to pretty stiff anyways.


BTW the car is now wayyyyyyy lower than that
