Where to conceal sig in my '10

Approx 5 in the last eight years..I work until late at night and have had Crack addiicts approach me in my car, in Tampa. First they get a quick warning then they look down the barrel of my gun. Usually happens at 22nd St and I4 overpass...I also have had two people follow me at 5AM, in an attempt to steal my car..They had no idea what would have been unleashed on them. (I had my .45 Glock on my waist and my 12 guage shotgun in the trunk, which I popped open when I got out of my car as I filled up with gas. I never took my eyes off of them and they never took their eyes off of me.)

i usually carry with it under my left leg, pointing outwards towards the door, grip to the inside of my thigh, can easily be reached (i'm right handed, shoot right hand) in an emergency..
i carry all of my different carry guns like this although some prove to be gentler to the backside of my leg than others obviously. the Kel-Tec P3AT is the slimmest, but .380 auto.. i have a full size CZ85 9mm thats almost as big as my full size Beretta 92FS but less shots in the mag, which i don't carry.. but for good all around i stick with my Colt 1911 Series 90 defender .45acp, its thin.. packs enough knock-down power, but i'm limited to 7 shots.. come on... who needs more than one shot? lol.. j/k
i've often thought about creating a custom holster that would sew into the front lip of the seat between my legs, but its more of an awkward draw, your hand just doesn't naturally go to that position like that or like it does when its under your leg.. not to mention the steering wheel in the way..

Glove box is for movies. That's the dumbest place to keep your gun if you're carrying it to use if SHTF. Under the seat, cocked, and ready to rock is what my mom was taught in Michigan. (There you have to take a class to get your ccp). Here in GA, I didn't learn anything, so I learn from what my mom was taught. I also don't keep mine in my car as the only thing I have is a .22 target pistol. Accurate as hell, but not a ccp.
Also, to the ladies, when in a bad area walk with your gun in your hand in your purse. Don't pull it out to shoot, just shoot through the purse. Saves your valuable seconds. (another thing they taught my mom).

It's not about being a "badass." I happen to live near and commute in some really bad areas, (St. Pete and Tampa) and I refuse to be a victim. I also have the right to protect myself, and have several times in the past. If I lived in Wallyworld (probably like you), I wouldn't need to be armed, but living near Tampa/St Pete, I have to be. We had a full scale riot down here in 1996, when was the last time you had a riot in your neighborhood?
