That's one hell of a car. Life would be so much simpler if I were rich.

With 150,000+ mustangs pumped out every year, I wouldn't pay that money for a car that looks so similar to other fancy mustangs, to most folk. The Shelby name means nothing to me. As far as 800hp...that's useless on a street car. My viper has a lot less hp than that, and it's pretty useless in the traction department, with all its torque.

Mustangs offer such good value and are so popular, you see one at almost every intersection.

Exactly. In the end its a mustang first and a shelby super snake second. There will be folks that have to have one and thats cool, I am not hating on them. It does look mean as hell, they did a great job with it.

^+1 This hahaha. Why buy a complete package when you can buy your own 5.0 and build it to your liking?

This car looks mean, but it's an end product... not much more you can do besides add slicks and some engine dress up. These types of cars are great for people who are too busy to have an imagination, IMO.

Unless of course their imagination dreams up a car that looks exactly like it?
so to say that its for those who are too busy with no imagination would not be how I describe it....I still think if you have the $$$$ then why not? I mean wealthy people have imaginations too, maybe they just dont want to be bothered with the build and rather drive and maintain the end product. Not every person who loves cars and appreciates them has to know how to tear one down or even how to turn a wrench...to do that doesnt mean you are more passionate about your car...to not do that doesnt mean someone is less....its just simply their choice...
I love to build and add...however, I also like when others can build and add to my liking for me...

Douche?

I wish I had the time to rebuild a car. I imagine myself doing it all the time, but spending so much time in the garage when I already have to work so much isn't fair to my family.

It's about responsibilities, not imagination.

Technically the Super Snake package is post-title, which means you buy a standard GT500 first and then send it to Shelby to get converted.
