That is what I am talking about. I wonder how easy such a thing would be able to pull of with aftermarket exhaust parts? And if any aftermarket exhaust companies would even sell such things for our 'Stangs?

No reason why one couldn't take the picture to a good shop and have the side exit duplicates....or real close. Car really only needs one set of exhaust exits. I really wonder how much exhaust really "flows" thru that 90* bend it would have to make.

According to fluid dynamics, not the majority of gases go down it.
As with anything, gases will take the path of least resistance and straight through is less resistant than a 90degree turn.
Now, if you factor in the zigzag path the gases must flow through a stock can muffler of a GT, that is a different story.

Everything is pretty much out there to be bought to complete the job.....the end result would probably be better then the LS Boss exhaust. I would have to take all the collected parts down to an exhaust guru and pay to have him piece it together. And yes, I would delete the back exhaust....side exhaust only!

that's what i mean, butterflies are coming for the boss that are supposed to send the exhaust in its entirety out the side pipes.

Here's a cheapo Electronic exhaust valve.....save yourself the pain of climbing under the car to remove the block-off plates.

If we spent some time looking around there may be a complete Mustang Kit already available...there has to be and if not...it's easy enough to create.

That would be great to have electronic cut-outs for the side exhaust so you could switch from full rear to side exhaust with a push of the button!
I think Borla is still the OE exhaust manufacturer for the Mustang, I'm sure they'll have some kind of kit available sooner or later.

boss starts at $40,995, the laguna seca package is a $6995 option. Only 500 of those LS cars getting built and it seems most are gone are stuck with stupid mark ups.

only options on the boss at all are the recaro seat and torsen diff at $1995 and the boss floor mats and car cover for $475. the only LS option is the car cover and floor mats.

You can buy every part you need to turn your normal boss into a LS car other than the rear seat delete which is apparently not offered. scuttlebutt says that the small company that makes it for ford couldnt keep up so it was removed from the FRPP catalog. I sort of wonder if that is the reason the LS was so limited in number since that seat delete is the key component other than different dampers and other suspension bits that separates the LS from the normal boss.
