Let's see-
-Picked up my 8.8 rear with 3.73s for $250 on craigslist. Came out of an '06 Saleen so it has the Carbon Fiber clutch packs too
-Got my 18" Bullitts on craigslist for $600 with decent tires
-GT takeoff mufflers for $50 shipped on ebay
-Fog light and taillight tinted covers for $20 each on craigslist
-Painted GT/CS rear on ebay for $275 shipped
-Painted GT front for $230 shipped
-Pair of Nitto NT555 255/45/18 tires for $230 shipped
Also got some great deals on the classifieds section on here and s197forums

Ive been close to a few good deals but either shipping or hearing bad news bout the product on here has cause me to not make a good deal yet, but im glad i got the forum to get reivews on jsut about any mustang Part

So wait, let me get this straight, you paid 10k total for a year old GT?!?! Or am I missing something?

He said he walked into a Chevy dealer to buy a brand new vette with cash and they wouldnt even give him the time of day (he was a fairly country guy) so i drove over to the Ford dealership and bought his GT with cash and drove back to Chevy with it. Needless to say they paid attention then.
The car was in perfect mechanical order and all maintenance had been perfect but there were a few key marks, scratches and a few dents.

Yep. The guy wanted it gone, he was ready to move.
He said he walked into a Chevy dealer to buy a brand new vette with cash and they wouldnt even give him the time of day (he was a fairly country guy) so i drove over to the Ford dealership and bought his GT with cash and drove back to Chevy with it. Needless to say they paid attention then.

Roush Strut tower for $49 brand new from eBay.
Smoked bumper corner lights for $37 brand new from eBay.
Both items were perfect. It's so nice deleting those ugly yellow lights lights......I really hated them against my silver paint.
