Anoying paint chips
#11
There is not a square cm of paint on the lip of my hood that doesn't have a mark or chip. My front bumper has so many holes in it, many all the way to the plastic. I have looked at getting the hood and the front bumper repainted but I can't afford it.

The nice vehicles are draped in invisible bra material.
My last New England vehicles had the "standard" length invisible bra applied in the dealership showroom.
The paint underneath remained pristine. The rest was sandblasted. Even the 1/8" of perimeter around the bra was sandblasted.
Protect them when new, or let them get damaged.

I got to say that this chiping. It ain't right. I recently said good bye to an old faithfull 92 chevy. At one point in it's life a kid threw a large rock which had it hit the rear windshild it would of gone through it. Instead it left a large dent just above it on the corner. The clear coat got a little scratched buy no chip. Bras are for women. I guess I'm just gonna have to grin and bear it and paint it right one day cause Ford dosen't seam to know how. Nice damn car though.

For one of my previous cars i had recently purchased a quite pricey paint job. It wasnt long before i started getting chips on the front end. I went out and bought a small tub of touch up paint and stuck it in my dash. One of the best purchases ive ever made lol.
