06 V6 upgrading to 05 GT
Right now i got an 06 Vista blue v6. Basic model. Its a great looking car but the car fax sucks on it. Im trying to sell it to get a 05-07 GT.
Heres a GT i found that i really like i just dont know if its a good buy, i still need to carfax it but if it checks out is this a good buy?
It has red leather interior

I consider that a fair price providing the car is squeky clean. You'd have to hunt for a lower price but it can be had for a bit cheaper. If that one floats your boat, then I'd continue checking it out.

Thanks nuke, I def like it. I would rather have a vista blue still, but the white looks good. Ive seen some lower priced GTs but that right now is the best deal I've found in my area. I love how it already had stripes, roush wing and upgraded exhaust.

that's too high a price. It sounds like the owner is trying to get more money for all those aftermarket parts.
Mileage is about average.
Is there no unemployment in that city? Unless the economy is booming in that town there's no call for asking a high price and most sellers really need the money.
Offer 10-15% less.

Have you test driven it? I'd also become familiar with the TSB's in the forum stickies, primarily the one regarding the water leak. If you think the car's clean and not a victim of anything major, then offer $13k or $13.5k. And if the car is all that you dreamed, then go with his $14k if he won't budge lower.

Ive talked him down to 13,800. I did a car fax it came back clean, no wrecks or or accidents reported. Only things that appear to be bad is that there drivers seat has some good ammount of wear on it, and he also said that exhaust heat shield rattles. That shouldn't be a hard fix should it?
