I remember this issue. Some guys found a fix for this. They ordered a gt500 pedal assembly and replaced the GT pedal assembly.
Funny, I thought all '12 GTs had upgraded pedal boxes. I would have never bought hat he Boss is using the faulty pedal boxes.

I'm glad to see the gov't looking into this though, I have an automatic but I feel terrible for everybody that has been running into problems from the get go. Just not a fun thing to deal with on a brand new car purchase.

not being able to shift is a big issue, you go to pass someone and need to shift and it wont go into gear, someone is going to get killed that way. the weird part for me is that it only happens on the 3-4 shift at high rpm.

Very disappointing to hear. Luckily I haven't had any problems at all with mine in 24,000 miles, but that sucks people are still having issues, especially with a 2012 Boss. I think it was Evolution or Lethal performance that had the same clutch pedal sticking to the floor issue and they had a thread on it and how they fixed it. I'm not "glad" the government is getting involved, but I hope it lights a fire under Ford's rear end to get this resolved.

I did a piece for one of my other sites on this topic and used Shane as a reference:
