Just wondering, when does everyones exhaust sound it's best and loudest? Is it starting out, into second? Out of third? For me it's right around 3k RPM in third.

Post some vids of your exhaust! I love watching them.

EDIT: Also, if anyone is running an O/R H pipe with the Pypes muffler delete could you PLEASE post a vid.

I have stock exhaust and automatic transmission. Never paid attention to details. Quiet at idle, quiet at more or less constant freeway speeds. Sounds great when accelerating, whether going up a freeway on-ramp or driving through the twisties on a two-lane mountain road and punching it coming out of a turn.

Mine is a stock V6 sound....... Not exactly pleasing to the ears at any levels, though I guess if I had to pick one that was the least of a tun off, it would be around 2500rpm, or around 5000rpm under heavy acceleration (sounds awful outside the car, inside the car it almost sounds decent).

As of right now, yes. That's just the Pypes Pype Bomb axleback. (CAI/tune too but that's neither here nor there)

Thanks for the compliment btw! I appreciate it. Are you considering the Pypes setup? I highly recommend it. LOVE my exhaust. Get a lot of compliments on it at shows and really anywhere.

Cold start (on a brisk morning) sounds lovely for me- not loud, but nice and deep enough to satisfy me.

Acceleration from around 2500-3500 sounds nice (enough "blurble" and deepness for me to enjoy), then WOT sounds fun at any range (as long as the car remembers to downshift LOL).

@mustangfirstcar; Dude get a new exhaust or a take off on that thing ASAP! Sounds bearable once you give the exhaust some love.

Good Lord Baker!

I have the remote start on my car as well. Can't wait to install my catback this month and hear it roar like yours every time I fire it up walking out to my car.
