Roush into euro killer.
My car right now is stock It's a stage 3 roush hard top. My dad said that he would supply funding if i want to race the car. I want to be able to compete at a high level. We own a ford dealership and this car seems the most suitable race car that ford makes, within a certain budget. What will I need in terms of suspension, and brakes. What will need to be done to the motor to reach around 550hp or can the stock 4.6 not handle that. Also any tips that could help lighten the car would be appreciated.
**Keep in mind i need to drive this car to school and it needs to be practical to a certain degree.

Not sure if the roush stage 3 puts in built motor or not. U will probably need better LCA's. Stickier tires (MT's). Keep in mind it has alot to do with the driver. Line locks. Better cooling system to keep air inlet temps lower. 550 Will get u into the 11's for sure but if u want 10's then cost a boat load of money and ur would still be dd

if you are going to road race, my advise is to drive it how it is now and learn it first.
you will need some seat time just to get used to how it is now.
mod conservatively from there. the driver mod is the most important mod, especially in road racing.
an overabundance of HP will only make the traction worse.
you can make a great deal of gains just by learning to drive what you have.
I race SCCA several times a year, and the thing that makes the most difference is the experience of the driver.
once you reach the limits of your car, then you start to mod.
first you should learn what your car can and cannot do.

the P51 is the one with a built motor.
you're going to need the Roush TVS SC to hit 550 hp, and a built motor so it doesn't blow.
