Default Maryland 302s

Just had a really nice experience with a kona blue 302 going towards Baltimore. Rolled up behind the guy saw his plates "three02" couldn't help but smile and laugh, guy flagged me up next to him and revved his eng in neutral. Smiling I did the same, good to see another nice mustang around here driven by a cool guy.

Anyone else have any cool experiences like this? Also if you're in the Fort Meade/Columbia area in Maryland I'm the one driving the blacked out 5.0, don't be afraid to wave back at me. (:

I've had guys wave at me and I wave back when we pass. It's just common curtsey, especially with another stang. I'm in Severna Park but visit Seven and Fort Meade often. Welcome to the site.

You're lucky, a lot of the people around my area are just people who bought the V6 because they thought it was a cool car. No waves back from them, I don't even try that often anymore. I've gotten a few waves back from the occasional early models, though.

There is one guy who drives a red GT with aftermarket headlights and a hood that sounds fantastic, and he waved to me once as I was pulling off a side street. Ever since then we always wave to each other. One time I think he wasn't sure if it was me so he withheld, but I waved and he frantically shot his hand out the window to wave before he passed me.

Makes me smile

That's pretty cool, ariborne. I have a silver 05 GT around my area with the same side louvers and rear louver and a 2.5" cowl that I see quite often and we wave to each other. The first time I saw him I thought "Wow, I'm so unoriginal" haha

My wife calls me a dork when I wave to a fellow Mustanger but get no wave back..WTF. The ratio is 3:1 but still, I kind of feel stupid sometime too. Anyways, I love meeting fellow Mustanger, even if it's for only a few seconds. I'm in Arlington VA.

I always let them wave first unless their car is just absolutely sick, like the 66 I saw yesterday, he got the wave.

I'll wave when I see a really nice modded out stang. That's how I know they're into their cars like I am, and that we share a common bond worth acknowledging.

If it's just a plain 'ol V6 with no mods, or a plan ol GT with no mods, I usually don't wave. But that's only b/c I've waved to them in the past and got nadda in return. The stockers just look at you like, "WTF?" LOL!

I agree with this...with your car, buckeye, you'll get the wave!

I usually smile and give a quick wave. I had one guy in a Stang actually pull over a lane and wave me past giving me a thumbs up. I gave him a 40mph tire roast and a big wave.
