i guess I might be in the minority but I really dont like the tailights. I like that the bottom is smoothed out but the overall look is just too much for me..

I think it is a huge improvement. The rear look so much better and I actually like the tail lights. One thing I do not like that I have said before is how all mustang look like GT500s now.

Don't get me wrong I think they all look awesome but I promised myself that this was it.......no more keeping up with the Jones's.....lol. I want a car that's paid off, I still can't believe I bought this one after being so close to having the other one paid for.....need to start doing other things with my money other than cars but they all do look very awesome.

I love my 12 gt but do wish that the new track pack was available when I bought my car.

I like it. I wouldn't say its any better or worse, just different.

I imagine most of those that didn't like the '10-'12s still wont like it, and those that did like them will probably like the 2013 too. Not radically different, IMO.

EDITED: The rear I mean.

Not necessarily, I'm one of those who never warmed up to the '10-'12 changes, especially the rear angle. I actually like the '13 restyle far better, to the point I would actually consider buying one, where the '10-'12 models never even made my "maybe" list.

I think you're probably in the minority of the 10-12 haters. I just don't see enough of a difference to satisfy all the rabid whiners and trash talkers, but maybe I'm wrong. Triple bezels around the tail lights and lack of the black plastic on the lower bumper is about it. Most of the angles are the same. (which seemed to be the main complaint)

*shrugs*

I agree with you. I think there will be a large amount of crossover. I do think more 05-09 lovers will also appreciate this design though, mostly in that the play with molding and the lights has sort of reduced the apparent angles of the rear in particular, which although it isn't actually different, will be perceived differently by that group I think.

Well, it was the "loaded diaper" effect that turned me off, and they've fixed that, so yeah, the rear view does look different to me.

I also like that they've smoothed out the rockers again, without the weird jog just before the door on the current model.

I realize that this is a little bit of a weird thing to post about, but can anyone find the reverse lights? I do love the new rear end though.

Love the track app....wouldn't have to pay $30 bucks to get your time at the race track...

People that didn't like the rear ends of the 10-12's can now shift their hate to the front..it seems people are always hating...perhaps they are trying to give a reason why they don't have a 10+. Those lights are pretty sweet...front end is terrible, and the lcd screen is pretty tight. The ponys that go on the ground when you hit the unlock button wouldn't be a bad thing to put on the 10+ mustangs if made available.

+1. It looks waay too aftermarket, and too many openings/edges. Lost it's factory "clean" look IMO.

Everything else is magnificent!

This is how it went for me:
2005
wow ford came out with a retro mustang; I kinda like it; looks like a classic mustang mmmmm.
2007
Saw an orange 2005 mustang at a parking lot... this is the end; that car rocks; look how cool it is!... s@# look at my p@## camry ugh.
jan 2008
Maannn I wish I had a 2005 mustang; I don't like this crappy 98 camry anymore; its been a good car but, it is booooriiinnng.
jun 2008
Yes! my brand new 2008 mustang, I love it! love it! The best car of the world yeah! perfect!
july 2008
man those wheels look tiny; need to get some bullitt wheels; then my car would be perfect. (see the car went from perfect to almost perfect)
August 2008
Man I wis I had more power; lets look on the internet to see what I can do... hold on what? bullitt mustang? wow, bad *** I wish I had one (now the 2008 is a bit less perfect and slower)
2009
pictures of the 2010 surface....
oh man... I love that front end; look at the interior it is way better than my 08; it doesn't have that cheap plastic interior oh maaaan. (now the car went from almost perfect to slow to not so cool compared with the new one)

Then Ford starts to inflict heavier blows to my 08....
2010
I will refrain from looking at the 2010 mustang; I will not look for pictures of the new mustang...I will not @#$ ford stop sending me brochures about the new mustang, Stop IT!

later that mont:
.... wHAT A HECK; lest go to the dealer to see the 2010...
came back from the dealer... with my old 2008... actually my 08 is not that bad; my Stang looks shinier than the cars parked there(Due to millions of hours of polishing and waxing), if I get the new one I would have to pay more insurance and the payments would be higher...; maybe later....i'll get a gt instead.

a month latter:
Yesh! 2010 gt500 wheels on my 08 coupled with racing stripes! almost perfect! (note that the car went back to the almost perfect status; pony badges; stripes, and new wheels added like *200ihp!*) *ihp* stands for imaginary horse power.

2011
new 5.0 and 3.7 engines came out...
oh man my 4.0 eats fuel and only has 210 hp noooo; this can't be; why!
(now the 08 car is dated by engine tech)

Mid 2011
oh no the BOSS is here ho@!#$ that is so bad @#ss I want one...
(now for real the 08 looks like a turtle against the new boss)

late 2011
You now what? screw Ford I'm keeping my 2008 until it is paid; I'll get a gt latter on 2014. (Note the resignation)

nov 2011
2013 first pictures appear online:
NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! nooooooooo!!!!
I hate you ford! how come you came up with this; now all mustangs look like gt500 noooo!!!

Today 2011
Crisis; I don't know what to do! I like my car but.... man! 2011; 2012;2013...2014 oh no what should I do?
